What's this?I've been taking photos for as long as I can remember, first with a Kodak instamatic, then with my Dad's collection of old East German cameras, then with a Minolta X-300 SLR of my own. I went digital in 2004 with a Nikon D70, and since 2009 I've been shooting with a Leica M8.2 digital rangefinder. With the Leica I've settled on three lenses: the Voigtländer 15mm/f4.5 wideangle, the Leica 28mm/f2 Summicron and the Leica 50mm/f2 Summicron. All my Leica gear is second hand. In this new project I'm aiming to post images I've taken with my Leica, though there are a few old favourites too. The aim is to focus on the images with as little distraction as possible, so I keep accompanying text to a minimum. Comments are switched on, but will be held for moderation before appearing on the site. You can also comment on most of these images over at Flickr. You can view EXIF data by hovering the mouse cursor over an image - note that the aperture listed for images taken on the M8 are inaccurate as those lenses are not chipped. (Incidentally, if you ever want to see a larger version of any of these photos, you can usually find one over at Flickr; just click the 'view all sizes' button.) |
